Did you know that the Chilean startup Strong by Form was the only Latin American invited to participate in LIGNA 2023, the MOST IMPORTANT fair in the world in technologies for the manufacture of WOOD? That’s right, and as a member of Future Square, the space for innovation and disruptive technologies of this fair that includes six other European startups invited to exhibit their innovations.
Strong by Form works developing an additive manufacturing technology that allows to create lightweight structural solutions, which merge the sustainability of wood with the performance and productivity of traditional construction materials, thus accelerating #FUTURODELAMADERA, a future that implements wood technologies such as coatings, light slabs, which will allow high-rise buildings to be built with this material, or the “Rigid Knot”, the innovation that allows wood joints without the need for steel or concrete.
CMPC is a partner of Strong by form as a strategic investor through CMPC Ventures, our investment vehicle in disruptive start-ups. We seek to enhance our raw materials, accelerate the development of technology and also facilitate the conversation and entry of other interested parties to invest in innovations linked to our business.
