Strong by Form participated in InnoTrans 2026 (September 22-25) at Messe Berlin, the world's leading trade fair for transport technology, held every two years and attended by over 170,000 professionals from more than 130 countries.
The team was present at the Europe for Rail stand in Hall 4.2, alongside the European Commission, the EU Agency for Railways, and Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking. The showcase centered on the Woodflow ceiling panels developed in collaboration with NS, the Dutch national railway, championed by Ilse de Vos-van Eekeren in Utrecht: a biobased interior solution that makes train carriages lighter, warmer, and lower in carbon.
The panels are currently being certified in a consortium together with Talgo, the Spanish high-speed train manufacturer, as part of a broader effort to bring Woodflow-motion into the rail industry at scale.
InnoTrans was an opportunity to bring Woodflow's mobility applications in front of the rail industry's key decision-makers, and to reinforce Strong by Form's position as a material platform that spans architecture, construction, and mobility.
